Bridge USDC to Arc
To fund CATCO on Arc, move USDC to your own wallet on Arc Mainnet. Circle's Arc Portal provides funding options, and Circle lists Arc among its supported CCTP networks. Check the live destination and recipient before proceeding: Arc Testnet is a different network. On Arc, USDC pays gas as well as native launch costs, so keep some available after funding your launch.

Routes to Arc
Start with Circle's official services. Available routes, source networks and charges depend on the provider's current quote.
- Open Arc Portal
Arc Portal
Circle's official Arc entry point, with funding and cross-network options. Confirm which wallet will receive the funds.
- Check USDC routes
Circle USDC Bridge
Circle's USDC transfer interface. Proceed only when its current destination selector offers Arc Mainnet for your source network.
These are external services, not CATCO bridges. CATCO does not custody funds, set bridge fees or guarantee delivery times.
Check the destination
| Network | Arc mainnet |
|---|---|
| Chain ID | 5042 |
| Native gas asset | USDC |
| Block explorer | explorer.arc.io |
Adding the network requests wallet approval; it does not bridge funds or authorize a transaction.
How to fund your Arc wallet
- Add Arc Mainnet to your wallet and copy the address you intend to connect to CATCO.
- Open an official funding service. Choose your source network, Arc Mainnet as the destination, and USDC as the received asset.
- Confirm the receiving address. Keep the source network's gas token available for any approval and transfer.
- Review the amount received, charges and requested permissions. Approve and confirm only the transactions you understand in your wallet.
- Track the transfer with the provider, then verify the destination balance in Arc Explorer before returning to CATCO.
USDC is also your gas balance
Arc's native USDC and its ERC-20 interface share one balance. No wrapping step or separate ETH purchase is required. Native accounting uses 18 decimals; the ERC-20 interface uses 6. Some wallets may label the native balance incorrectly, so verify the network and explorer rather than buying a different asset.
- Do not use an Arc Testnet faucet or a Sepolia route to fund a mainnet launch. Test assets are not mainnet USDC.
- A normal USDC transfer on Ethereum or Base does not move funds to Arc. Use a supported cross-network route and check its destination.
- For an unfamiliar route, consider a small first transfer. Bridge execution involves provider and smart-contract risks.
Check the wallet that will launch
A balance in a separate Portal wallet is not automatically a balance in your CATCO-connected wallet. Confirm the receiving address and available USDC, then leave room for the launch transaction's gas estimate.
Arc bridge questions
Do I need ETH or an ARC token for gas?
No. Arc network fees are paid in USDC. Your source network may still require ETH, SOL or another native asset to initiate funding.
Why is Arc missing from my bridge?
Providers support different networks and routes. Check the official Portal or try a supported source; never substitute Arc Testnet.
Does adding Arc to my wallet move my USDC?
No. Adding a network only changes what the wallet can display and use. Funding requires a separate transfer to Arc.
