About this tool
CATCO's earnings and dividend calendar is a user-maintained watchlist of company events, not a live announcement feed. Add confirmed earnings and ex-dividend dates yourself, then filter the schedule stored in your browser. Dates do not update automatically.
How it works
User-entered ticker events are stored locally, ordered by date and labeled as earnings or ex-dividend. The planner calculates upcoming timing without sending the watchlist to a server.
| Parameter | How it is used |
|---|---|
| Ticker | Identifies the company or security. |
| Event type | Separates earnings from ex-dividend dates. |
| Event date | Orders the watchlist schedule. |
| Notes | Stores timing or position context. |
Keep different event types distinct
A fictional watchlist has two earnings events and three ex-dividend events entered by the user.
2 earnings entries + 3 ex-dividend entries = 5 saved events.
Filtering to earnings leaves two entries; the three dividend events remain saved in the planner.
These are example entries, not live company announcements. An ex-dividend date is not the dividend payment date.
How to use this tool
- Add tickers and confirmed dates from issuer relations pages or filings.
- Label each event as earnings or ex-dividend and add useful notes.
- Review the schedule before placing trades or planning dividend eligibility.
Frequently asked questions
What is an ex-dividend date?
It is the date on which a security begins trading without entitlement to the declared dividend under the applicable settlement rules.
Can earnings dates change?
Yes. Treat announced dates as provisional until confirmed by the issuer or exchange and update the planner when they move.
Is my watchlist uploaded?
No. The planner stores entries in the current browser local storage and does not require an account.
